What did you guys gave or do for your mom in Mothers Day? ^^
I was planning to make her dinner.
But, sadly my grandma came over to my house and i couldnt prepare. T__T
So i had to make the dinner one day after Mothers Day. >.<>
Anyway, i used more than one hour preparing the dinner tonight =)
After sweating, crying, and nearly being cut,
I finally finished my spaghetti xD

Here are the basic ingredients. ^^
Including Onion, Mushroom, Tomato, Green Pepper, Minced Meat, spaghetti & sauce.

I cut them into small pieces =D
ps : i nearly got my fingers sliced twice when i was cutting them T__T
And the onion made me cry like a baby HAHAHA

While i was cutting the ingredients,
I left the spaghetti to boil. =)

After the ingredients was ready,
I began frying them.
Starting with half of the onion i prepared.
I made them gold yellow
then i added the meat,
Fry them together.
I threw in the rest of the onion inside after the meat changed colour.
Next, goes in the mushroom.
Followed by the green pepper and tomatoes. xD
(I added some spicies like salt, sugar, pepper, oyster oil, soy sauce, etc while i was frying)
Finally i poured in the tomato sauce and heat them for a while.
Wallaaa~ its done ^^

Heres a pic of the fried ingredients without the tomato sauce.

I know its not much for a mothers day gift,
but, it contains my love inside. =)
So i hope she likes it.

I took a pic with mommy while i finish cooking.

I served dinner with a pure orange juice xD
With the air conditioner on. hehe
Does it look good? ^^

Mom said that it was nice hehe
I left some for dear tmr so she'll be my judge for the food xD
I think its ok but,
ill leave it for dear to decide lol.

I thought this for mom last night :

M... is for the million things she gave me,
O... means only that she's growing old,
T... is for the tears she shed to save me,
H... is for her heart of purest gold;
E... is for her eyes, with love-light shining,
R... means right, and right she'll always be.

Put them all together,
they spell "MOTHER"
A word that means alot to me.

Our mother is the sweetest and
Most delicate of all.
She's not only beautiful
But passionately young,
Playful as a kid,
yet wise as one who has lived long.

What does Mothers Day mean to you?
For me,
"Happy Mother's Day" means
more than having a happy day.
Within those words lie lots of things
I never get to say everyday.
It means I love you first of all,
And thanks for all you did.
It means you mean a lot to me,
And that I love you always.

Mom,
Your arms were always open
when I needed a hug.
Your heart understands
when I needed a friend.
Your strength and love
guided me and gave me wings
to help me soar.
There's no one like a Mother and
no Mother quite like you.
You are so very thoughtful and caring,

and I just want to thank you Mother,
for making my life brighter.

I love you mom.

your blog and your poem about mothers and mothers day is so heartfelt and heartwarming jeff xD makes me feel a rush of love for my mum too xD

and hahaha jeff's special spaghetti...i finally see what it looks like *imagines eating it* and i bet it was absolutely delicious too ^^

but yea...reading that blog it just re-enforces how nice a person you are jeff, one who respects others...theres not many more of those ppl in the world left :)
