Highly recommended!

Born Rich aka 富贵门 is really a great series~ The storyline is mad awesome and I really love how the honkies able to bring up the character so well! Big applause to the casting crew and producers behind the series.

Born Rich is launched together with Beyond the Realm of Conscience aka 宫心计 but not much people including me paid attention to Born Rich as the promotion of the latter wins a lot of crowd. Luckily I came across this series from Chai Rou's pc and copied them back! In my personal opinion, I prefer Born Rich! It reveals different personalities in the society and pinpoints the weaknesses and strength they have and how they deal with problems using a great storyline.

The background of this story mainly narrates about how human acts to conquer the inner conflicts between oneself. It's basically about a banker, Marcus Chuek Yat Yuen trying to find his long lost brother, Chuek Yat Ming in Sabah and has mistakenly identified Sa Fu Loi as his brother. Using his Chuek Yat Ming identity, he has managed to be one of the key players in the banking industry. Fu Loi has gained a lot of trust in Chuek's family and he actually enjoys being Yat Ming, as it brings him financial status, family warmth and also love. Fu Loi falls for Chuek Yat Sum and Yat Sum has feelings for her too. Yat Sum keeps her feelings towards Fu Loi because she thought they are biologically-related siblings.

A lot more happened as the series progresses. Just watch it! Trust me, it definitely worth your time and you'll understand more about the reality although it's not true story. I always believe that one can learn something after a movie/series rather than only entertainment. Born Rich has caught me into doing some thinking lately and I really admire one of the major character in the series, Connie casted by Chik Mei Chen 戚美珍.

Connie is a very independent, tough and clever housewife in Chuek's family. She raises two children and provides everything necessary as a mother. She did all she can to bring the best to Chuek's family and her two adorable children although im abit scared whenever i saw that kiddo from Murderer -.-. In facing her husband's scandal with Angie, Connie deals with it pretty well although she's the victim. I really like the character very very much. It reveals about how independent a woman can be when she really wants to. She faces critisicm in a light smile, holds back all her emotions and does all she can to protect Chuek's family when Fu Loi is trying to take control over the family. It hurts when I saw Connie has to bear all the faults and accept all the flaws from each and everyone and she keeps being misunderstood. She does not complain to her husband or anyone, but chooses to tolerate. I really really admire the character, how I wish I can be that patient in everything!

So, faster open your pps/ download Born Rich immediately! hahahah I do not receive a penny from TVB yet still being so advertorial >.< Maybe I should claim from them for promoting to my readersss ahahaha

Overall, it's a good show and it's really exciting for the last few episodes. Connie is independent but i feel she is too rational until I feel it's not realistic.

Sometimes, people in reality tend to be over-rationalized too. It's one of the ways to hide the feelings. I admire her for being so patient and tolerate about everything! (: Glad that you have the same view with me.. haha

我刚刚看完四十集哦哈哈,好好看哦
